(St.Lucia Times , June 5th, 2016):- Saint Lucia Police have launched in investigation into a threat against Prime Minister Doctor Kenny Anthony, a Senior Police source has confirmed.

The source told the Times that a Facebook post is being viewed as a serious threat to Anthony.

In the post the writer, who has a female name, said that if the Labour party wins the next elections, which it will not, she will be alive to see a Prime Minister get “sniped.”

“So keep taking the cries of the people for a joke, if this should happen I will watch it go boom on TV far away from here, but since this won’t happen, I will stick around to dance with Allen Chastanet and the rest of the party,” the writer declares.

The post concludes with the words “yellow power.”

During the current election campaign, threats have also been made against two well-known media personalities, Rick Wayne and Sam “Juke Bois” Flood.
