About J’nysis

J’nysis Band was born out of the zeal to play upscale quality music. This group of talented musicians and vocalists is the brainchild of Randy Liburd aka Doc, who inspired, motivated and harnessed the passion of the integrants who love to perform.

With the love for music and the performing arts, J’nysis band was formed in March, 2015 as a result of a break – up from another band, originally called “Genesis Band”. Each member had prior musical experience but yet yearned for that overall cohesiveness in performance. The unique spelling of the band name “J’nysis” was conceptualize from the idea of most bandmates having their names beginning with the letter “J”; while trying to keep the fan base built on the performances of the previous group but at the same time differentiating this new, dynamic and energetic set of musical prowess.
