Sam Terrence Condor, new Permanent Representative of the Mission of Saints Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, presents credentials to Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

The new Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Nations, Sam Terrence Condor, on Monday October 27th 2015 presented his credentials to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Condor was Permanent Representative-designate since May 2015. He was Deputy Prime Minister between 1995 and 2013, during which time he served as Minister for Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Labour and Social Security from 2011 to 2013, and again as Minister for Foreign Affairs, National Security, Labour, Social Security and Immigration from 2010 to 2011.
Mr. Condor was Minister for Education, Youth, Social Development, Community and Gender Affairs from 2004 to 2010; Minister for Labour, Social Security, Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Affairs, Telecommunications and Technology between 2001 and 2004; Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Trade, CARICOM Affairs, Community and Social Development and Gender Affairs from 2000 to 2001; and Minister for CARICOM Affairs, Youth, Sports and Community Affairs between 1995 and 2000. He was elected as a Member of Parliament in 1989, 1993, 1995, 2000, 2004 and 2010.
Mr. Condor holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours in economics from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, and a diploma in development studies from Ruskin College, Oxford University, United Kingdom.
