Duncan “Big Lice” Wattley is settling in his new position as a Director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Wattley’s new appointment as Director in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs came in March of tis year. The post comes with it major responsibilities including  the development of a Diaspora relations strategy and policy which will seek to create and or enhance  the federations Affairs and relations with the Diaspora. Wattley previously served for many years  l as a Senior Lecturer at the CFB College and most recently served as the Director of Constituency Empowerment.

Wattley has had much experience in Foreign Affairs. Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris and Foreign Affairs Minister Premier Mark Brantley counted on his expertise, experience and support on various overseas engagements including a trip to Cuba in 2016 where Wattley was a part of a SKN Delegation that included PM Harris and Foreign Affairs Minister Brantley. Wattley has also journeyed to the Virgin Islands and the US as part of government delegations that engaged our nationals in the diaspora.

Wattley’s appointment is expected to result in significantly enhanced Diaspora engagement .
