St.Kitts-Nevis former Skipper Atiba Harris is on the move again. The St.Kitts Soccer legend who has sent most of his exemplary career in the MLS has decided to sign with Mexican Club Murcielagos FC in the Mexican League just one week after becoming a MLS free agent.

The Murcuelagos FC team is currently last in the Mexican 2nd division’s relegation table, which means of course that they are at the risk of being sent to the 3rd division.
Atiba has spent the majority of his career in MLS, so it’ll be interesting to see how he does outside of it for the first time since 2005 when he was still playing in Spain.
Harris will be expected to literally save the team from relegation to the Ascenso MX 3rd Division.
In commenting on the signing Atiba Harris tweeted “After 12 years in MLS and living in both the US and Canada, it was time for a new challenge and an opportunity for my family and I. Mexico is a place that’s very close to my heart because of family ties so I’m looking forward to this new challenge and I hope to help my new club achieve its goals”
