Tropical Storm Danny Warning Discontinued. RLB Airport Re-Opened

Public Relations Officer of the SCASPA St.Christopher Air and Seaports Authority Ms Nordia Demming has issued the following release regards the passage of TS Danny and the Re-Opening of the RLB Airport:

The centre of tropical storm Danny passed about 75 miles south of St.Kitts-Nevis this morning. Danny remains a minimal tropical storm that could dissipate in the next 24 to 36 hours.

With this information the airport will now be open to serve the general public from 12 noon today Monday 24th August 2015.

Please note however, that our seaport operations including shed 3 (airport), the ferry terminal, the Deep Water Habor and Port Zante remains closed.

Please be reminded that all SCASPA staffs are expected to return to work tomorrow Tuesday 25th August 2015
