Ibrahim was declared a terrorist by the Trinidad and Tobago High Court last month.

In December, 2015, Justice Nadia Kangaloo ruled that the Trinidad and Tobago Attorney General’s office had provided sufficient evidence to deem the 70-year old a terrorist under the Anti-Terrorism Act and that the state could begin the process of seizing his assets.

Up to Press Time the Attorney General’s office was yet to be officially informed by the US Justice Department of Ibrahim’s passing.
