“With the final 9-holes of Irie Fields at Kittitian Hill soon to be opened followed by the 18-hole Tom Fazio golf course at Christophe Harbour within the next two years, St. Kitts & Nevis will be offering four championship courses for play and is well-positioned to become a destination of choice for golfers.”
Minister Grant went on to say, “We look forward to showcasing the beauty and challenges of our golf courses to Barmy Army members and have every confidence that these two beautiful islands will, in time, be viewed as a major golf hub in the Caribbean. We hope to see many of you over the coming years.”
Also speaking at the event, Paul Burnham, Managing Director of the Barmy Army Ltd, said, “The Brits and in particular the Barmy Army love the Caribbean for its Cricket. We look forward now to developing our brand in the Golf world and feel St Kitts is the perfect venue for us to visit and play some quality Golf.
