Harris said the Bradshaw property will be placed under the National Trust.
Besides the plans for the museum, the premier discussed an initiative to create a national heroes park, with the honorees to be selected by residents of the islands and the diaspora.
“The concept of a National Heroes Park represents a new ethos, a fresh thinking in our treatment of not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, but of all our national heroes. This location will become the sacred and special site to which locals and tourists will come,” Harris said.
St. Kitts and Nevis has more than 51,000 residents.
