Laughton Mills of Bricklyn Village, Nevis


Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 23, 2015 (RSCNPF): The Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is currently investigating the shooting death of Laughton Mills of Bricklyn Village, Nevis.
Reports indicate, the incident occurred at a construction worksite in Butlers Village, around 7:15 am today, (November 23).
According to the VCU report, the deceased was shot by a lone gunman wearing dark clothing, the assailant then took personal items from the deceased and fled the scene.

The scene was processed by members of the Forensic Services Unit and the Investigation is ongoing.
The Violent Crime Unit has asked the community for assistance with this and all cases currently being investigated. “We urge anyone with information that can assist the police in this crime, or any other crime to call any Police Station in the federation or Crime Stoppers, our confidential hotline, at 1-800-8477 to share information,” stressed Superintendent Mitchell, Head of the Unit.
