On November 26th, 2000 in the vibrant city of Basseterre on the charming island of St. Kitts, a luminous soul enlivened the world. Her name is Kadeema Blanchette. From an early age, she was groomed for success and at the tender age of 15, she emits the characteristics of a multi-faceted young lady.
Kadeema is currently a Form 5 student at the illustrious Basseterre High School, where she is pursuing eleven (11) subjects of which Biology and Theatre Arts are the ones she loves the most. Furthermore, Kadeema who is an aspiring obstetrician has been recognized numerous times for her academic prowess. In 2015, she was a member of the championship team that captured the SCASPA Best in Class award during for the SCASPA High School Best in Class Competition. This year, she was selected as one of the 25 Most Remarkable Teens by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment.
While Kadeema makes great strides academically, she impressively balances her time as an ardent dancer and netball player. She is a senior dancer at the renowned Children’s Dance Theatre and a tutor at its sister company, the Fireflies Dance School.
Kadeema is also a budding sports star in her own right as she is a member of the St. Kitts- Nevis National Under 16, Under 19, and Under 21 netball teams; and currently serves as captain of the Basseterre High School netball team. She firmly believes that her involvement in such extra-curricular activities fuels her academic excellence.
Kadeema is honored to represent host country St. Kitts in the 37th Annual Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant and is excited to present the culture and magnificence of the Kittitian people on a prestigious regional stage.
