LIAT launches 60th anniversary logo competition

JOHN’S, Antigua, March 23, 2016 – LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, today launched a competition giving its employees and customers the opportunity to design its 60th anniversary logo.

Head of Corporate Communications Desmond Brown said submissions should focus on the accomplishments LIAT has made in the last 60 years.

Mr. Brown said the logo will be used on pins for employees and on LIAT aircraft, amongst other items of collateral.

“The logo should be creative, original and not previously published; must not include any material(photograph, icon, symbol, etc.) that is copyright protected; must reproduce well in electronic and print media, must remain legible when the size is reduced; and must be visually effective in both colour and grayscale.”

Participants must reside in one of LIAT’s 18 destinations and must be 18 years and over to enter the competition.

LIAT will receive entries via email (marketing@liat.com) until April 13 2016.

The winning entry will receive four weekend getaways inclusive of flights for two to St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino; the St. James Club Morgan in St. Lucia; the Fairmount Royal Pavilion in Barbados; and Kapok Hotel in Trinidad.
