Now in it’s 19th Year the St.Kitts Music Festival continues to evolve with new initiatives and revised and updated goals and objectives. The Festival has always been mainly geared towards drawing visitors to the island during what was traditionally the “slow season” in the tourist industry. However for this year the “slow season” may have to be re-dubbed the “fast season” as a series of events including the 19th SK Music Fest, the CPL and Culturama are expected to draw record numbers of visitors to the island for the so called “slow season”.

The music festival once again will be the main event for this years slow season.  Homegrown artistes dominates this years line-up. For the first time about  Half the total number of acts will be local or  St.Kitts-Nevis based performers.  The line-up of homegrown artistes includes St.kitts Road march Band Small Axe and Odisi Band from Nevis who will both be performing on the Opening Night as part of the SKMF Flagfest. Soca Monarch Mr Bagnall will be performing with T rinidad’s Roy Cape All Stars.  Superstar performer Infamus will be performing on the Final Night alongside Headliners Trey Songz and Jason Derulo. Upcoming island rap superstar Mod Stoney performs on the Thursday Night along with Nicha B, Footsy, Trebla,  Jah Fire and the AZ-1 Band.

The Festival will also feature homegrown personalities as Guest Hosts for each night throughout the 3 night event.

The St.Kitts Music Festival begins on Thursday June 25th with the SKMF Flag and Rag Fest and then ends on Saturday June 27th with headliners Infamus, Jason Derulo and Trey Songz. Other performers include Bounti Killer, Ciara, Christoper Martin, Patrice Roberts, Benjai, the Roy Cape All Stars, T-Vice, Tono Rosarioa and more.
