Dead Masquerader Found At Trinidad’s Queen’s Park Savannah Identified as Well Known Japanese Pannist

542091_220548018057976_33713566_nPort of Spain, Trinidad (February 11 th 2016):- The masquerader discovered in the Queen’s Park Savannah on Wednesday  morning has been identified as Asami Nagakiya, a well known pannist from Japan who regularly visits every carnival season to participate in Panorama with the Silver Stars Steel Orchestra.

Around 9.30am two men saw the body of the woman lying under a tree in the Savannah opposite the Queen’s Royal College.  The body was clad in a yellow costume.10857755_674603979319042_5549453168210522578_n

The police were notified.

One man who said he first discovered the body said the woman’s arm bore a slash and her body was bruised.
