St Kitts and Nevis shines at the 29th BPW International Congress in Cairo, Egypt. Adorned in their national dresses of St. Kitts and Nevis, two former BPW St. Kitts Presidents proudly carried our national flag in the parade of flags at the opening ceremony of the XXIX Business and Professional Women International Congress on Monday evening, 23rd
October.  Past Presidents Dawne and Christine are among a delegation of ten BPW  St. Kitts who travelled to Cairo, Egypt to attend the triennial congress which is being held
under the theme Making a Difference Through Leadership and Action.
The opening ceremony was held at the foot of the Pyramids and a few yards away from
the Spinx. Seventy‐three countries joined in a spectacular celebration of cuisine and
cultural entertainment.  The vibrancy of the madras and the infectious smiles of the BPW St. Kitts delegates made them one of the most photographed group in attendance. Over the next few days, the delegation looks forward to networking; seminars on climate change, economic development, empowerment of women; and the historic confirmation the first Kittitian to serve on the International Board.
