ANTIGUA: Drug Bust At VC Bird. Jamaican Caught With 18 Pounds Of Ganja In Cheese Can
St.John’s , Antigua (September 12th 2016):- 37 year old Dwayne Omar Swarthy of Jamaica arrived on a Caribbean Airlines flight on Monday September 12. In his suitcase were six large cans of Cheddar Cheese and four cans of juice. The cans were all factory sealed.
One can of the cheese was opened by a member of the Customs Task Force and it was found to contain compressed cannabis. All of the other cans were opened and all contained compressed cannabis weighing a total of 18 pounds of cannabis with an estimated street value of $72,000.00 EC.
Swarthy is now in Police custody.
