Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 28, 2016, (RSCNPF) Two persons have been charged for an Armed Robbery committed at the MoneyGram Office  in Basseterre on Friday, (May 20).

 

Charged for the offence are: Inebo Ibo Hendrickson, of Sandy Point and Reynauldo Jarvis Jeffers, male, of Buckley’s site.

 

 

Both were arrested and formally charged on May 27 for the offence Armed Robbery which occurred on May 20 in Basseterre. They remain in Police custody.

 

Commissioner of Police Mr. Ian M. Queeley said, “I commend the officers for their hard work on this case. You remained vigilant and brought those responsible to the first steps of justice.”  He added, “the use of technology was a major contributing factor in making the quick arrest.”  And said “that this is the second instance in recent times when the use of appropriate technology provided the Police with timely and actionable information.”

 

 

Commissioner Queeley added, “in view of this, I encourage the business community to invest in electronic surveillance equipment at their establishments.”
